Mother. Midwife.
About me
I reside in Southern California with my husband and 3 daughters. I attended undergrad at The University of San Francisco where I majored in Politics and minored in Middle Eastern Studies. I have spent the last 7 years as a doula while completing my midwifery training at The National Midwifery Institute. Outside of midwifery, I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors, while letting motherhood shape and mold me into all that I am meant to be.
Why midwifery
Midwife- this has a been a word I have know since I was a little girl. My mother had a midwife when she labored with me with at home. When it came time to ask questions about pregnancy and birth, my mother never weaved stories of fear- rather she always stressed the fact that our bodies were made for this. When it came time to having children of my own, I too, chose a midwife. While I truly believe midwifery is a calling, the moment I answered came after my own out of hospital birthing experiences and standing as a witness to many traumatic hospital births.
My Approach
To be a midwife is to be invited into one of the most sacred and vulnerable journeys a woman will ever take. My role as a midwife is to stand alongside the mother, trusting in her intuition, affirming her autonomy, and offering unwavering guidance and support.
My foundation is rooted in my own spirituality, which informs my practice in a way that honors the essence of traditional midwifery. It is my firm belief that birth is spiritual—a transformative journey to be respected and approached in ceremony.
Every journey is unique, and the care I provide is deeply tailored to the needs of each individual family.
It is always an honor to witness a woman expand, surrender, and step into something greater than she ever imagined as she becomes a vessel for new life. Birth is magic, and I am humbled to stand in service to this sacred journey.
